Stacking Racks

A stacking rack is a multi-tiered, stackable, and modular storage device utilized in warehousing and logistics operations. Primarily constructed from Q235B steel using welding processes (and optionally galvanized), the unit features fork entry slots at its base to facilitate handling by forklifts or manual pallet jacks. Requiring no fixed installation, it allows for vertical stacking to create three-dimensional storage units, making it ideally suited for goods turnover and high-density warehouse storage applications.

Applicable Scenarios:

1. Construction Machinery Industry: Parts, raw materials, finished equipment turnover storage; 2. Food & Fresh: Cold storage temporary storage, boxed food transportation; 3. Building Materials: Pipes, plates, steel bar stacking; 4. Manufacturing: Parts, semi-finished product pipeline turnover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stacking racks are widely used in warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics centers, cold storage facilities, and distribution hubs. They provide flexible storage for products that require temporary, seasonal, or high-density storage while improving warehouse organization.

The load capacity depends on the rack design and dimensions. Standard stacking racks typically support between 500 kg and 2,000 kg per layer, while heavy-duty models can carry even higher loads. Custom load capacities are available based on customer requirements.

Most stacking racks can safely be stacked 3 to 5 levels high when fully loaded, depending on the stacking rack design, floor conditions, and load distribution. Always follow the manufacturer’s stacking recommendations.

Absolutely. Custom options include dimensions, load capacity, leg height, removable posts, foldable structure, stacking height, surface treatment, and color. OEM and ODM services are also available.

Stacking racks are portable and do not require floor anchoring, making them ideal for flexible warehouse layouts. Pallet racking is permanently installed and better suited for fixed storage systems with forklift access.
